Cardinals rookie shot in the face outside his home

Mr. Scot

Generally when a car is described as gold it's just referring to a tan-ish color. It doesn't mean the car is metallic/shiny like actual gold.

For example, this is a car listed as gold color:

You may be right, but it is more fun to imagine them cruising down the streets in one of these:

"Toledo police said Damond Powell, Jr., 22, was shot in the face about 8:30 p.m. while sitting with friends on the porch at 406 Heathshire Drive. The assailants wore masks and fired from a vehicle."

"She reiterated her brother’s assertion that Mr. Powell was a good kid and not tied to any gang activity, saying, “He didn't allow that drama.”

So why is everyone assuming that he was the one being targeted? :/

I think it's clear he was the target, but that doesn't necessarily mean he did anything bad to bring it on himself.

How is it clear that he was the target?

They went to an awful lot of effort to just shoot a random guy.

Not saying he did something to deserve to be a target. Honestly might be just the opposite.

A guy who stands up and says no to gangs could very easily draw the ire of said gangs.

They didn't though. It wasn't just him that was in the driveway, it just happened to be him that got shot. People that do drive-by's aren't exactly military snipers. They never said that he stood up and said no to gangs. They said that he wasn't tied to any.

There is absolutely nothing to insinuate that he was the target. None whatsoever. You're drawing a conclusion without taking into consideration the currently presented evidence.

I get what you're saying, but we disagree on this.
