Cardinals rookie receiver Damond Powell was wounded by gunfire outside his home in Toledo, Ohio on Friday evening.

According to the Toledo Blade, Powell was shot in the face. Three suspects were seen in a gold vehicle, wearing masks.

According to police, the undrafted free agent was in his driveway when shots were fired from a car. Police said the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Powell, a star high school football and basketball player at Rogers High School in Toledo, played college football at Iowa.
