Stadium Seating Question

Hey guys,

Quick question. Does anyone know the difference between rows "1" and "1A" in the upper deck?

I know the lower level has that back row for wheelchair access, but that one is called row "WC". Is 1A the access row up top?

Wc is the row in front of the concourse up top. 1a is the front row once you actually go up the stairs in your section

my seats are row 1 ----- in my section there's: row 1a.1b,1c,1d,1,2,3 etc....my section extends all the way down to the rail....no walkway, no wheelchair access. of course, not al sections are set up like this.

WC rows upper deck are the best seats in the house.

if I'm not mistaken in 1996 when the stadium first opened there where no seats in the very front rows. In 1997 they added seats to all the front rows and marked them 1A.

I always thought the 1a rows were to match up the sections that had stairs cutting into them with those sections that didn't.

My dad's seats are like this. He has 1A but his seats are on Row 2. The ones in front him (actually on the front row) are Row 1.

Anyone can use them.  You might see 1 handicapped person for every 30 seats or so.  They are great for taking my dad to games who is in his mid 70's now and climbing those stairs isn't an option anymore.

So my understanding is that every year the people in the first 2 rows (1a, and 1) switch rows. So if you have 1a then you're in the first row 1 year and the 2nd row the next year. Don't ask me why. But I'm pretty sure it's bc Barrack Obama.
