We signed a waste of space (Tyler Hansbrough)

Hahaha... Lol this team now...

He played at UNC and owned Duke and Coach K in a 4yr span that was the darkest days Duke fans had seen Coach K endure since Dean Smith retired. After '09 a lot of Duke fans were questioning K and ready for him to retire. Psycho T is probably one of the most hated UNC players ever. Because he was great. Anyone upset Charlotte signed him to sit on the bench is just showing their homerism and dragging retarded college ball into the NBA.

Or it could be the fact that he sucks...

Some people actually wanted a shot blocker and this is MJ's awnser... Lol

This concept that he's a good rebounder in the NBA doesn't pass the eye test for me.

Hopefully he won't see the floor much.

Not getting  this  nnarrative either..  When did this guy become a tough  defender and rebounder  Avg.  Less than 5 rpg last year...

I don't get the negativity of this signing.

It isn't like we are signing him to be a starter and I doubt he cost very much.

He gives us some depth, energy, and toughness.  He had some good moments in Indy, but for whatever reason it didn't click in Toronto.

It isn't like we had a bunch of money to spend.

Just an end of the bench guy.

Doesn't it have to be the MLE since we are over the cap. If so, that means he's getting paid around 6 million. It's not that bad but don't think he's worth that much especially considering we got Lin for 2 million. I love the energy this guy brings but I'm not all that excited about this.

Definitely agree with you here.

Hansbrough gives us – as you said – a jolt of energy and rebounding from a 10-15-min-a-game guy. He's an upgrade over Maxiell in many ways and he could turn it around here. Of course if he does, he'd be the first. I'm not excited about all the 50 jerseys in the stands and the UNC bros that will be populating the arena now.

You take the good with the bad, and I don't think the good outweighs the bad in this scenario.

Unless he fell off a cliff in Toronto, which he very well may have and I just don't know, he's not that bad.  I watched him play plenty with the Pacers, and some of y'all are overreacting like a mother fuger.

He's a good bench and hustle guy, and he's great at getting up under the opponent's skin and throwing them off their game.

That said, I don't know what the fug this team is doing... because we really didn't need Hansbrough.  He's a useful player, but it's a bit of a head scratcher on our part.
