We signed a waste of space (Tyler Hansbrough)

I don't get the negativity of this signing.

It isn't like we are signing him to be a starter and I doubt he cost very much.

He gives us some depth, energy, and toughness.  He had some good moments in Indy, but for whatever reason it didn't click in Toronto.

It isn't like we had a bunch of money to spend.

Just an end of the bench guy.

This.

He played like a decent rotational piece back in Indiana.  Toronto wasn't a good rotational fit but he translated ok into the league.

We just need Tyler Zeller and Ben Hansborough now lol.

Just wait until we trade Jefferson for Tyler Zeller.

Seriously though, pump the brakes Duke fans. Hansbrough will play a similar role to what Maxiell had and if you don't view Hansbrough as an upgrade you're letting your college affiliation cloud your judgement. He probably sees 7-9 minutes at the max, if he doesn't receive a DNPCD.

It's not anything against any of the players we acquired, but this is just such a "Charlotte" move in an offseason full of "Charlotte" moves after we appeared to be bucking that trend last season. That's what is most disheartening.

He played at UNC and owned Duke and Coach K in a 4yr span that was the darkest days Duke fans had seen Coach K endure since Dean Smith retired. After '09 a lot of Duke fans were questioning K and ready for him to retire. Psycho T is probably one of the most hated UNC players ever. Because he was great. Anyone upset Charlotte signed him to sit on the bench is just showing their homerism and dragging retarded college ball into the NBA.
