I heard on a commercial the other day that people average about 26 years worth of sleep in a lifetime. For some reason, that is just totally interesting to me. Think of what you could have done with all that time, if you didn't need to sleep.

I think I remember something about the average play takes 7 seconds. then we get 45 seconds of play clock until the next play. by that math, a 100 play game would be a little under 12min of action. on par with your number.
