Remember when DG was an idiot who didn't know what he was doing and was running our team into the ground and also sabotaging Cam because he didn't offer Anthony Collins a massive contract? Fast forward a year, DG is a 2yr GM with 2 Division titles and a playoff win, gave Cam a $100m+ contract, and Collins is a FA nobody wants.

I doubt we'll do it, but If we're going to look at anybody then Jake Long is worth a shot.  Those back-to-back ACL tears are scaring teams off I imagine.

He's a quality player that should come relatively cheap due to those injuries... if he were to work out he'd instantly be better than any OT we have on the roster.

There wouldn't be any reason to not bring Jake Long into camp for vet min. Also wouldn't have a problem with Red Bryant to compete for depth for vet min. If they don't work out, just cut them, no loss. Doubt we add anybody before we're into camp and get a better look at some guys on our roster or if we have injuries.

does jake long want to get paid like the last two seasons didn't happen or something?  i have no idea why he's still a free agent unless it's that or he can't pass a physical or something.  he's a perfect example of a low risk/high reward signing if the price is right.

How many times have you heard a player say something like "I don't care what the doctors say. I'm healthy! I know my body!"
