What this does for me is makes me appreciate Cam, his agent and DG.  Cam could have made a big stink and this would have been the biggest news all year long.   Instead they did it the right way.  Out of the Media.   DG and Cam's agent got him a good deal without bankrupting the team.

The butt-hurt and idiotic comments this forum regularly displays as it relates to Wilson is astonishing. Yet the same morons yapping about how much Wilson wants will think it's reasonable when Luck asks for the moon...for accomplishing less...

The same morons who thought it was a good idea for the Bears to give Cutler that hilariously bad contract last year, or neglected to take the same stance when Drew Brees actually HELD OUT for not a penny less than twenty-two million.

I don't recall a single person thinking that Cutler deal was a good idea, and Drew Brees is a unique case because we all wanted to see the Saints saddle themselves with an unruly contract.

Yeeeeeah, I guess I was more referring more to the part about the 2x Super Bowl thing.  But yes you're right, he had a terrible first half to that game.  And since you brought it up, here's a much more relevant stat that makes Russell Wilson who he is and what separates him from "Alex Smith".  During OVERTIME in the PLAYOFFS of THAT GAME,  he was 3/3, 80 yards 1 TD and won it for his team.  Defense never even got off the bench.  Lynch rushed twice for 8 total yards.
