Because it's what he gets PAID to do. If the team needs a stop gap we've got a good one. It's like riding a bike, he'll just let his athletic ability take over.

I can't say that I'm at all surprised by the Leman cut. He's has a nose for the ball but he can't quite get there fast enough.

I can't believe we kept Hayden. He's simplt too small to play DT in the NFL. And before someone says, "he looked better against the Steelers", remember that Preseason means nothing. :wink:

Hopefully we can get some DT and maybe fix some other issues with waivers...maybe get a trade or two going. Where a great team with a few leaks in the boat. If we plug the holes up we'll be ready if not we'll slowly sink.

As for punt returner, if someone legit comes available you could see another cut to make room for them.

I said this in the general cuts thread, but the Raiders cut Justin Miller today. He took two kickoff returns back for TDs last year and has decent talent at cornerback. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't receive a call from us. He's not eligible for waivers I believe.
