Luke will be the highest or at least top 3 salaried MLB in the NFL, just as he should be. It won't break the bank. CJ and Stewarts contracts are finally almost done.

Is it smart for a Player like Luke to play an Active Role in a Contract? Or is it better for his Agent? I mean of course his agent is going to expect more because he gets a cut, and wants to make sure he is representing his client to the fullest potential. However, Couldn't Luke tell his Agent look im only expecting "X" a year, so don't worry about trying to get Max.

thats a fantasy world you're living in bud

What is wrong with a Player not wanting Top Dollar, if it can save to get better players? You guys act like if a player don't get Top Dollar than there Agent should be Fired. The point is... Luke knows he is a great player, I would say top 3 MLB. However, that doesn't necessarily mean he it looking for a big payday.

If he can get paid well, and leave room open for the CAP for better players, why not? I would take a little pay cut for the better of the team.

Sounds like all the ridiculous posts about how much Newton was going to paid and how it was going to hurt us.  Yet we signed him and actually saved cap room in 2015.  The same will be true of Luke. Gettleman has this under control and wont be overpaying.  Luke will get a paid a bunch and he will deserve every penny but it wont hurt us signing who we want and keeping guys like KK and Star.

Willis was the highest paid MLB in the NFL before he retired this year.  Just north of $11 million a year.  That was the highest contract for a MLB ever, and still is.  I can see Luke getting $12 million a year, anything more than that and someone should check to see if Gettlemen is getting some of those FIFA kickbacks.
