Barclays Premier League- 2015/16 Season Thread

huh?  Manchester United had 33 shots on target in 7 games while Arsenal had over 60.  Let that sink in.

That including game against Chelsea when Arsen got robbed by Mike Dean.

If you take Chelsea game out, Arsenal is averaging 10 shots on target compared to Manchester United 4.7.

We clearly have different definitions of lethal. Lethal to me means if you give a team a chance they will score. That is not something you can say about Arsenal. If you give them chances they probably wont score - making them pretty harmless.

I think it's safe to say that yes, you two are coming from two different views of it. I would say that Arsenal's attack is very strong, but not very lethal, as they hardly convert their chances. We have a middling attack at the moment, with a middling lethality in conversion rate.

Arsenal will get their poo together eventually though, and when they do, it's going to be hard to stop them unless Wenger's confusion kicks in again, and he starts playing Giroud over Walcott or something, lol. I have respect for that team, as they can be a juggernaut, unless they happen to trip over their own shoes. That, fortunately for us Spurs fans, happens more often than Arsen would likely care for.

No offence but Manchester United won 2 games this season already due to refs errors.

Today it clicked... Arsenal created wave after wave of attack this season with Walcott at CF.  Alexis on wing with Walcott in the middle and Ozil with long passes is great to watch.  Leicester had to abandon their plan today cause they got destroyed on counter attacks with Arsenal pace.  Also, when Gabriel plays, Arsenal conceived zero goals.

Giroud is a horrible CF and I'm glad Wenger finally benched his ass.  Dude is slow with zero agility and can't score for poo.

Arsenal averaging around 25 total shots a game and 10 shots on target.  It was only matter of time before they start converting.

I'm still pissed Mike Dean threw the game against Chelsea.

Haha what games were those?

Chelsea were going to beat Arsenal anyway. Wenger can't beat Mourinho in any other than overhyped friendlies.

Arsenal are too soft to ever get anywhere under Wenger. He keeps signing Robert Pires when you need to sign a Vieira.

You can look back in this thread.  Refs handing Manchester United points has been a normal thing over the past 2 years.

As it comes to Arsenal, yes, Wenger is stubborn as fug but you cannot look back to 2006-2013 and say "see, Arsenal never beat Chelsea".  Arsenal was in a sellout mode to pay off their stadium.  Arsenal currently have over $500m in cash in a back account while Manchester United is over a billion dollars in debt and uses fishy accounting techniques to create positive cash flow so shareholder do not go crazy and go into massive sale sale sale mode.

Prior to 2 years ago Arsenal also failed to beat Manchester United and Manchester City...  Just in the last 3 years, Arsenal almost completely changed their squad... Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Coquelin, Barrelin, Gabriel, Cazorla, Monreal, Chech...  The only 3 players remaining from 3 years ago are Ramsey, Kosceilny and Walcott.

Saying Arsenal would not beat Chelsea is ignorant especially when Arsenal has top 5 attack in the whole Europe right now with only Real Madrid having more shots.

LOL...  Manchester United being almost a billion dollars in debt is no secret.  Manchester United also signed sponsorship deal that pays $200 million annually...  Which is more than Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City combined!  The whole thing is fishy as hell...  It looks like Blazers trying to pump Manchester United with revenue to decrease their debt and probably sell it....  because not many will buy a team with $1 billion debt... not attractive.  Just 18 months ago Manchester United got a mysterious $300 million tax refund from government... which they used to buy new players because they missed CL and all TV revenue that comes with it. Manchester United is not as dominant as it used to be in the world market with Arsenal and Chelsea getting the same TV exposure as United...  Right now, Manchester United debt is disappearing fast due to inflow from mysterious transaction that leave many people scratch their heads.
