Hardy sentence reduced, we're getting a comp pick

I think he has a case considered his punishment should have only been 2 games based on what was being handed out when it occurred. 

 

Isn't arbitration the process that the Players Association agreed to?

If so, how can he appeal what he and his fellow players OK'ed?

Johnson just turned 29 today. He's only 2 years older than Hardy. I don't know why people act like he's almost 40. He has another 4-6 years of elite football left in him.

Also keep in mind CJ didn't start his first three years. He's only in his fifth season as a full-time starter. Five or six more very good years is a legitimate possibility.

If he keeps up his current production rate (10.5 sacks per season as a starter) he could finish his career with over 100 sacks (he has 62.5 right now). If he has six more years of 10.5 or more sacks, he'd have 125.5 sacks - as many as Julius Peppers has had in his career so far.

Reduced? If anything they should increase it I don't think 19 games is long enough

I am of the belief he couldn't play last year because of this crap and the NFL should have let it go as time served.  It is BS they "force him to take paid leave" and then zap him 10 games (reduced)  They were basically taking 2 years of PT from him.  That is Bull.
