So who really is the best player in the league?

Watt is the best player in the NFL, but if there was a mock draft Madden style of all NFL players by NFL GMs, I doubt he'd go in the top 10.  Maybe not even the top 15.  It's a QB driven league and QBs would dominate the top of such a mock.  

J.J. Watt is the most dominant individual player in the league, but Aaron Rodgers is the best QB and the most valuable player in the league.

A-rod or (please dont kill me.) Jimmy Graham. Both the best at their position in an offense driven league.

You think Graham is better than Gronk? Not saying you are wrong but I don't think it Graham separates himself enough (if at all) as the best at his position.

Rodgers is the best QB and arguably best offensive player. Luke is the best defensive player, then JJ Watt.

JJ Watt can be taken out of the play too often to be considered the best. 

 

It's a toss up between Cam and Arod. Yea I said Cam but he backs it up with the ability to create with is legs and make pinpoint throws. Arod right now is a savvy vet that has the best arm in the league. 

 

On defense its Kam Chancellor. Dude creates turnovers, stops the run, plays the pass like a DB, he is by far the best Safety. Sherman gets all the media but it's Chancellor who really is making that team work.

This is a really subjective question. Best current player? Probably Watt, or Rodgers best overall? Brady or Manning.

If we are talking defense then i would have to give the edge to Watt, simply because of the position he plays he can change the game more. Luke though is definitely right there with him.

As far as offense it'd be hard to argue with a player like A-Rod.

Until he retires I'm always gonna say Brady. He has the hardware to prove it. I can't stand the guy but he has kept his team a 10+ win perennial contender with a cast that constantly changes around him.

I'd give it to Watt. Back to back 20+ seasons has never been done. Rodgers is incredible, but what he is doing has been done for the last ten years by guys named brees Brady and manning.
