Would you take these passing stats for Cam this season?

id like to see cam have 28 TDs, 3800-3900 passing yards, 10 INTs, 62%, 700 rushing yards and 4 rushing TD. I understand with a healthy oline and healthy RB's that that should take away the need for cam to produce as much. but this is a pretty big year as the vets on the team and other have commented that they are running out of time for some of them to get a ring and still be able to produce. with a healthy cam along with better receivers, i cant see why cam cant have stats close to this. especially if he wants to be elite

Passing Projection: 62% completion percentage, 3,600 yards, 22 TDs, 11 INTs

i think most of these numbers could reasonably go up. 62% is pretty damn good compared to the more accurate QBs in the league. but 4,000 yards is possible, as is 30+ TDs and (unfortunately) north of 20 INTs. In his four seasons, Cam's TD to INT ration has been between 2-1 and 3-2. so if he is going to throw 30+ TDs, chances are he will throw at least 15 INTs.

Let me start by saying that I love me some Cam and hate Br. That said, this article seems pretty damn fair to me. I would be happy with those number this season considering our defense mixed with the fact we have an upgraded oline. With our interior line it's not out of the question that Cam could put in another 8-10 scores on the ground this season. 22 TDs to 11INTs, with 62% completion and 8 rushing TDs would be one hell of a campaign and could be a 12-4+ season with our defense. I would take it.

Bleacher Report, lol.

Only 22 passing touchdowns? Cam Newton would even tell you that's bullshit. We paid the man to be our guy, and he's expecting more of himself.

With the addition of Funchess, Ginn, and the emergence of Corey Brown, combined with a deep and healthy RB group, I'm thinking close to 30 passing touchdowns. We need our OL to step up, and allow Newton to be the guy within the pocket that he was early on last season.

they paid Cam that money to lead us to wins...not get stats.

Wow MadHatter, what a revolutionary concept. I don't think any of us had ever put that together until you mentioned it just now.

I know the simple things task your simple brain.

don't hurt yourself...I will give you the answer (2+2=4)  so you can now go back to eating paste and watching your cartoons.
