Rob Ryan Reboots

Mr. Scot

"He who smelt it, dealt it." It may not be 100% accurate or admissible in a court of law, but it is a trusted guideline that has been used for decades by police forces everywhere.

So when they go sniffin' in my car when I get pulled over and try to arrest me it's really them who dealt it...

Buddy Ryan was a phenomenal defensive mind. His offspring are ass clowns and mediocre. Rex went to a NYJ team loaded with defensive talent and was heralded a genius, even though they got progressively worse every year. Now he's tagged onto another great defensive group in Buffalo and will be crowned some genius when the top 10 defense he inherited is a top 10 defense.

I think Rex is pretty legit as a Defensive guy, i wont call him a genius or phenomenal but he had some top ranked Ds with the Ravens too, everywhere he's coached he's coached a #1 ranked D at some point, so you gotta give the man some credit, it does take talent to but he had a part in it too...

The Jets were middle of the pack on defense before Rex got there and his first year they are #1 and are top 5 for at least 3 straight years and was top 10 for a year after

If we call Rivera an above average defensive coach, we gotta give credit to Rex too, Ron has coached a #1 D everywhere (#2 D here in 13) so has Rex

Rex and Buddy have consistently fielded top defenses.  Rob has done nothing of the sort.  His units have consistently been ranked in the bottom 25%.  If his last name was not Ryan, no team in the NFL would have him on their staff in ANY capacity.
