Big Frank, Big Frank, Big Frank!

Recommended Posts

I keep hearing a metric poo-ton regarding how Big Frank is going to be the savior of the line. Can someone PLEASE do a scouting style thread discussing why this man should be more than what I've seen of him?

Please help me see the light; I think I've missed it.

Yea, im a big frank supporter.  Im also a grease monkey from monroe.  With that said i see alot in him like what i saw in hardy before he broke out.  Always around the play, play inside or out, and just a half second from the sack.  Once he puts it together yea i think he will be what we need opposite CJ.

I haven't seen anything about him being the savior. I've seen some discussion of hope that he can be a contributor.

Your definition of metric poo ton and savior is drastically different than mine.

I don't know if I would necessarily say overrated, but you got to admit, the kid has garnered his fair share of interest recently. With good reason I would think. If he could somehow win the LE job, man, that would help our D immensely Not to mention his opportunity for him to earn himself, a good sized raise.

I don't want to put any stock into Frank. Let him be a rotational/depth player. I am really hoping the 2nd we spent on Ealy pays off this year. He showed some flashes last season so lets see what a full NFL off-season has done for him.

Well he's doing pretty well in summer league...

HA! I think tat went over a lot of heads.

Is Frank clean now? I won't get excited about him until I see him in uniform in September

I believe he's been talked to about that whole issue, and that he knows this is his absolute last chance here in Carolina.

He'll have to work to get that trust up again. But, I think Rivera is excited due to what he's seen before he screwed up like he did last season.

I'm excited to see the whole Dline rotation work out. I mean hell, rested players make better players. And I think we have some depth there that will help keep them rested and ready.

Because he showed a fair amount of promise in 2012 before getting into Rivera's doghouse in 2013 and the league's doghouse in 2014.  Very few are touting him as a guaranteed breakout, but if the guy has his head right he's just as good as Addison and Horton and has a lot more upside.
