Your childhood NBA team?

Who was your childhood NBA team. 

 

I didn't grow up in a city with a NBA team. But as a kid my favorite teams were the Magic (closest team), Hornets (favorite NBA Jamz team), and Bulls (MJ....obviously)

From Massachusetts so it was the Celtics, mid 70s teams. Boston vs LA, really the best era to be a fan to me. Red Auerbach, Havlichek and Cowens...later on they got this Bird guy who was pretty good

amazing area to live in for NBA in that time period.

Bulls, without question.  Though I did have some random Hornets and Magic gear too for whatever reason.

Turned 4 when the original hornets came around so they were an obsession.

Pretty much. The Bulls cornered the market on the preferred national team, taking that title from the Lakers who rules the 80s.

Im an all Carolina guy. One of those fans who pulls for everything Carolina.

(I don't consider the Bobcats a Carolina team. I conveniently browsed other teams during that time. Made me appreciate the better days.)

Hornets were closest, about 3ish hours away, so them.  But I also routed for some players, like Hakeem and Mutumbo.

The bobcats unfortunately. I was 10 during their first season. I've grown up with a horrific basketball team.

Now that I think about it, my dad took me to a Bulls v Hornets game in probably 1988... just guessing on the year.  I was 15 or 16 at the time.  I really just went to see Jordan.
