I have never understood why there is ever any shock if anyone, repeat ANYONE, gets hit after they take a swing at someone else. All things being equal, if the weaker PERSON doesn't want to get KO'ed by the stronger PERSON, maybe you should not take a swing at them in the first place. I don't see how this is any different if it is male vs. male, female vs. female or male vs. female.

I am no Batman...

But there is nothing in this who justifies a man hitting a women like that. They share blame for being young, drunk and stupid. Him hitting a women like that is all on him and him fleeing like a little boy is just sad.

 

You do not hit a women!! Unless she is a threat, which in this case clearly she is not.

With all due respect, you answered a question I didn't ask. I agree wholeheartedly that you should never hit a woman. I am simply asking if Batman thinks she's completely blameless in this altercation.

Who know what happened leading up to this situation? Who knows maybe he has been stalking her , or trying to get with her all night and would not leave her alone. So when she starts saying "No" he doesn't accept it as an answer. So eventually she gets fed up, as he forces his presence on her. She says no, tries to block him from getting near her, or blocking him from the bar. He gets closer, and she turn around to defend. The Fist was to show that she is not playing with him. He grabs her, she punches ( no very hard and almost missed) He steps into the punch and punches her will all of his force. To me, He couldn't take "No" for an answer, and well you see the results.

I have no idea how you could get that insane narrative out of that video. It looked pretty much like two drunks jockeying for position at a busy bar to me.

It was a guess of what happened? Never said it was true. I can read her body language that she was being harassed.  Also, it is from experience, I have been to many bars in my Days, and when a Man, especially a "Jock" or "Athlete" "Gym Rat" etc thinks that they can bully there way to get any woman they want. Usually they buy them drinks etc and then expect something in return, when they say No they get mad because a woman challenged there "Manhood" and things don't go well. Lots of guys, "Not All" have this bravado in a bar that they can get any woman they want, and when they are told no, it makes them upset. Now it also could have been 2 drunk people fighting for a space at the bar, however, there was a previous "Altercation" or "Incident" before the bar. You can tell from the video that they didn't meet for the first time at the timeframe of the video.

Why do some seem to think that those saying she is wrong for what she did are defending his actions? From the video they were both clearly wrong. Any person that hits another person is wrong and any person that takes the retaliation past reasonable self defense is also wrong. She should be charged with something while he should have received a harsher charge than he got.

      I once again wake up eat my breakfast and then read bs…man your logic only works in your head I can give you multiple examples but I’ll start with one easy clear example of it matters who you’re getting and what you’re planning on doing. Jadevon C and Khalil Mack were drafted before Aaron Donald 2014 biggest mistake of the draft as we look back and redraft or whatever. It doesn’t make sense to take a DE over a DT thats a stud game changing elite defensive player. You can’t draft of generalization typically you want a DE first but nowadays DT are just as impactful so you better choose right LA got a chip bc of Donald meanwhile K Mack is on his second team and J Clowney on his third  team. We don’t draft positions we draft elite prospects Graham seems to be a more productive disruptive player than either DE we may get. A Carter who I want is a Micah P clone they say I can see him impacting the pass game but the run game might leave him as a non factor. And right now our main focal point on defense this offseason will be stopping the run. We’ll be able to create pressure with A Barno back Wonnum healthy and a mix of blitzing which has helped us generate pass rush lately.  Graham if he allows us to stop the run and he generates a pass rush himself which at Michigan he’s know to do both consistently helps our defense then start controlling games would be a better pick then Carter for us moving forward so let’s dive deeper then just pick a DE over a DT because there’s so many factors to weigh out with these top ten picks in the nfl draft.
