Report: Jason Pierre-Paul injured in fireworks accident

hipaa violation?

whoever supplied it to ESPN violated hipaa but ESPN itself is in the clear since it doesnt apply to media

The law does not directly apply to the news media (unless a media employer acts as a health plan or healthcare provider – by offering onsite medical care, for example; or a reporter works for a publication that is covered – such as a hospital newsletter).

I remember this guy when I was a kid who was one of my friends' "uncle" though I doubt he was blood, who was drunk as hell and was bragging to everybody about how he could light a firecracker and squeeze it in his hand so it wouldn't go off. He bet one of the older kids $25 on it... Well let's just say, it didn't turn out so well for him, and not because he lost $25 (that I'm sure he didn't even pay anyways)...

Adam Schefter is getting hammered on Twitter.  Absolutetly demolished.  James Harrison replied to him and called him a piece a poo for posting it.

Just as long as people are talking about him and ESPN is all they care about. No such thing as negative PR. Scumbags...

He should.  It is a pretty despicable act if you ask me.  They could have reported the scoop  without putting his private medical records online and on tv.

Thre is also something fundamentally wrong with trying to get his medical records in the first place.  Media has no shame.
