If so can you give me a reasonable explanation to why a crew is ripping up a county road a week after they completely repave it with fresh asphalt?

because I think it's the dumbest fuging thing and I can remember this happening every time they repave a main road.

I mean it's definitely the utility company over there; they definitely didn't do the wrong road and it didn't look like it was sagging anywhere. Zod may have a point about the budget. An emergency such as a water main break I could understand but there can't be an emergency within two weeks every time they pave over a main road. I dunno

i hate this fuging state. You can't drive three blocks in any direction without taking a detour and it takes forever for them to finish a project.

Utility companies usually don't dig up the streets any more than the street department climbs utility poles.

If the utility company is on site and the street department is tearing the place up, it's usually a sign the underground utility has an issue. Granted, some larger cities have utility crews who will do a rather limited excavation to get to the problem, but simply repaving a roadway is left to the street department.
