Cringe worthy article

A few things:

The Cho/Clifford era is the best era of basketball this franchise has seen in that time frame. Jordan is the best owner in franchise history. Marinate on that.

Also, it turns out the Bobcats name was the best thing to happen to Charlotte. Had we been named the much more awesome "Flight" and that brand had taken off (pun intended) one could argue there would have been no groundswell of fan support for bringing the Hornets name back once Tom Benson bought the New Orleans franchise.

The frustration for me at least is I see an organization that wants to do right by the fans and the community and all indications are they have done that. As bad as it is now, I think we sometimes forget how much worse the BoJo era was for various reasons and consequently how toxic that Bobcats moniker was and probably will always be around Charlotte.

Facing an uphill battle, MJ and company have clearly made great strides off the court with the franchise, but with all the recent moves, I question whether the right people are in place to really put this franchise into the upper echelon of the league on the court and whether MJ has the patience to see a true rebuilding effort through without middling.

Until then, that article will just keep counting the blunders.

No paragraph focusing on them picking MKG at #2 when the team needed a scorer who could shoot, so the article is propaganda and garbage. That move alone has stymied this franchise more than anything else that's happened the last 5 years. Everyone who refuses to acknowledge that is part of the problem.

In hindsight, the 2012 Draft should've gone #1 - Anthony Davis, #2 - Damian Lillard...but of course this Charlotte front office probably wouldn't have drafted Lillard over Kemba even knowing what they do today, as passing on Winslow because of MKG indicates.

Winslow's Jumper numbers were god awful, worse then MKG. All his 3pt shots were set shots and his form takes forever. Highly doubt he makes it with his current shot in the NBA. Would not be surprised if he doesnt have to completely reconstruct his jumper. If not, i doubt he'll be very successful on anything outside of 15 feet. Ft% in the 60's, his 2pt % on jumpers was 26%. On top of that MKG is a bigger, longer and more athletic player. Completely a better college to pro prospect Lol at thinking a player not as good at what MKG is at is the answer for the team. Get over it, it's clear from the makeup that they are building the team around his and Kemba's strengths.

I agree with all of this.

The experience at the arena is the best Pro-Sports venue I've ever witnessed.  The staff is so ridiculously nice and helpful I'm surprised by it every time.

Under Jordan, they have gone so far out of their way to please the fans off the court, they have created a monster gap between the atmosphere in the arena and the product on the court.

I try not to fault this organization for being terrible because they have only been an actual non-Bob-Johnson-train wreck for about 5 years.  Remember, 5 years in, the Panthers were mired in mediocrity with the great George Seifert at the helm.  Anybody remember those drafts?.. Sean Gilbert trade, Rashard Anderson in the 1st, Chris Terry in the 2nd.  T'was truly awful.

    • Okay, so answer this one then, since you said you can't answer something you don't think will happen...... You have said numerous times in the past that even though you want them, you don't think Deion will allow us to take his son or Hunter. You then taking Ward #1 over T-Mac just because he's the QB?
    • Thanks for that sounds very interesting.   I have a scientific mind usually and don’t believe in wide spread conspiracy theories but with the NBA it’s so obvious.  The fuggin rigged draft is something only an idiot wouldn’t see.  But the NBA is 100% about big market money.  It’s not even a real league.  It’s 10 teams that have a shot.
    • This response is absolutely and utterly insane, I've literally this same thing out multiple times in previous posts about mock drafts, like a bunch of times. I've never once denied it's a possibility of them going #1, I've just said that I wouldn't take them there. And YET AGAIN, you're proving that you don't believe they are elite QB prospects, you literally just said "first prospects off the board REGARDLESS OF TALENT" It's literally what I've been saying this whole time, these QB's don't have the draft grades to deserve that pick.  They're only being mocked there because mocks are trying to predict the draft, not saying who deserves to be drafted where.   Dude, this is exactly why I question your reading comprehension skills.  You keep trying to say you got me with something, but in those exact posts you're just proving my points, the literal opposite of catching me in some lie or moment of ignorance.
