From what I've seen, some combination (if not all) of their 2 1st rounders last night, a future unprotected 1st from Brooklyn, and maybe Sully.

The unprotected 1st from Brooklyn should've sealed the deal to make the trade if true. Give me 16, 28, and that 1st, they can keep Sully.

Anyone else having a hell of a time trying to navigate the huddle on mobile?

These ads have nearly rendered it useless.

I quit trying last night. It's a waste of effort.

Also, Simmons is still a Celtics shill. They could've offered 28 and Dino Radja and he would've blubbered "MICHAEL JORDAN IS SO FACKIN' STUPID FAH TURNIN' THAT DOWN, HE'S LIKE A MINOR CHARACTER IN THE DEPAHTED, JALEN LET'S TALK ABOUT THE DEPAHTED NOW FOR AN HOUR"

Pie for the accent.  Good stuff...

And as far as the offer, it's possible Ainge is just trying to make himself feel/look better by saying that publicly, but if it's true... Man...  IDC where they are in the first, those are assets and you can flip them for a lot more.  Look at all the teams who have acquired stars using shitty 1sts...  We could've used them to trade for a star, or at the very least, you have 4 chances to get it right versus 1.

A decade ago I'd be more inclined to agree with you, but late first-rounders almost never pan out as stars. They usually top out as role players, and while we usually end up with role players with our lottery picks, the chances of them being better are at least somewhat higher. If this were the NFL, I'd agree a lot more. But there's often little difference between 20 and 35 in the NBA these days.

On the Celtics forums they are saying Jordan would've been an idiot to accept the trade. They're mad at Ainge for stockpiling mid to late 1st rd picks that are worthless. It sounds like Ainge offered #16, #28, a 2019 1st via Memphis, and a future 1st via Minnesota that has stipulations that are more than likely gonna turn it into 2 2nds... Ainge & Simmons have both basically called Jordan an idiot on Boston radio today. They're both just mad that their team was stuck with a bunch of worthless "1st rd picks" and that Jordan didn't bail them out. Ainge made it sound like Jordan was demanding even more. I love it. Bend that fuger over the table and if he yells rape just walk away and decline the offer.

Well, I know he's from there, but I thought he had always claimed to be a Clips fan.  He just happened to have Boston ties and sources there...  Oh well.

He lives in LA and has Clippers season tickets, and writes about them kinda often (can't believe I know this much about Simmon's life, ugh) but yeah he's always been a Boston fan.
