2 pages and no one saw "Kevin Funchess"?  Are we getting more tolerant around here or did no one actually read OP?

Was going to say this myself, but wanted to read through all the post thus far to make sure nobody else beat me to it.  I guess it isn't the end of the world, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me.  This guy I work with continually says "Shaq Thomas" and it bugs me....

I am not excited KB is a fat bastard and Cam well he is just cam.. Oher is just not happy with his movie ratings!! Let's just hope Martin does not get over sensitive about the past and ask to rejoin the Dolphins during scrimmage!! This year is mysterious!!

Went to Vegas last week, and put money down on this team.  I usually go with 100, but this is the year.  I went with 200.  

This is our year. This is the year we bring the championship to Charlotte.  I can feel it!

Can't ever recall feeling as good about our chances of going all the way as I do for this upcoming season.

I feel so good about it, I may drop a deuce or two in Vegas as well.

As long as Rivera doesn't get a brain fart and start the first half the season tinkering with Veterans on defense over the better player we should be OK.  Let the players that got us in the playoffs START.  I can see maybe Tillman at one corner and Benwikere in the slot but only if he beats him out.  What I think would benefit both Tillman and Benwikere is let Benwikere run the corner until we go to the Nickel package.  Let Tillman come in as the corner and move Bene inside.   Keep the Tillman fresh and let the better player take the corner.

Offensively I think the talent that we brought in will gel nicely and Oher will be serviceable at worse.  He doesn't have to make the Pro Bowl for us to be good.  Give Cam some time and IMO both Cam and Oher will be better than last year.   I like Turner and Norwell at the guard positions. Kalil is the brains behind the offensive line and we could argue that there isn't any better. Remmer holds down the RT spot until he gets beat out by Williams. 

Oddly the position that scares me the most is RB.  Outside of Stewart we have little to be excited about.  Fozzy didn't show too much last year when Williams and Stewart were out and Reaves was worse.  Stewart gets injured and we could become one dimensional just like the playoff team of 2005.  Hopefully between the line improvement and some fresh legs we'll be OK.  The chances Stewart goes down with injury at some point this season is pretty high.  I don't think he has ever played a full season without sitting out one game.

 

Overall I am still very excited about this team and as I said before.  I think it will be special.
