He played with his dick more than he stretched or participated at Wofford.  He had 3 great seasons but was never a team player and to this day doesn't give a shlt about anything but stats.

He gave stats 100%, he never gave more than he had to to this team.  WFNZ is the proof people.

Jerry allowed him to go for a reason.

I wish no ill-will on Steve but TD deserves a statue, SS does not.

DGAF if any of you agree with me or not.  Give me 1 Cam Newton and Thomas Davis and I will see your  8 Julius Peppers and Steve Smith.

3 greats season, 4 good season, 1 season with Jimmy Clausen, 1 season with emotionally broken Jake Delhomme (not to be confused with clutch Jake Delhomme), 1 injured all season, 1 injured most of the season and about 10 out of 13 being our only viable receiving threat.  And what's a team player?  People always through that around, but there are bad so called team players on winning teams the same as they are on losing teams.

Was he the best teamate?  Hahah ..don't think so. Best mentor?  Um..nope.  Do I understand why Gettleman let him go?  Yes.

But I also know that when I watched Carolina games I know 89 came to play.  Going into traffic knowing he is going to get whacked?  Yes .   Fighting for extra yards? Yes.  Blocking down field ?  Yes.

DGAF if you don't like him anymore or never liked him.   Love TD , Love Cam and still love Smitty.

Steve Smith still is my fav panther ever. This guy came to play. He was on some of the worst teams in franchise history but still brought it each week. People complain about him being a jerk but I remember my encounter with him and it was nothing like some people say. He is a real geniune guy. I got excited everytime I seen him make a play. He had that never give up mentally. I still miss him and wish him the best with the Ravens

The best play I've seen Smitty make wasn't one of those circus catches. For me it was when played Rams several years ago in their dome. It was a sideline grab where Smitty stayed in bounds to make the catch. It wasn't some magical catch but it was the way Smitty effortlessly displayed the skill to make that grab. It literally looked like was gliding on the turf.

This may be literally the dumbest thing I've ever read on here. If Steve wanted stats, he could have gone to any other team.
