Correct me if I'm wrong but the Broncos kind of loaded up last year... They've lost some key pieces I believe... Maybe the FO knows their time is up and they were trying to look forward... I could see this being legit.

They keep talking about an imminent rebuild on the news here this year.  They're kind of in the pre-stages...but it's interesting because this suggests they would dangle Peyton rather than play him until his wheels fall off.

 

They have enough young guys that it doesn't have to be a blow up, rebuild and that helps transitioning Peyton out.
