it might violate the TOS of the websites you're trying to fool but i don't think that's necessarily illegal

private internet access (commonly abbreviated to PIA online) is popular with torrenters and has a good reputation because they supposedly don't keep logs.  you can even buy access to their service using retail gift cards if you really don't want your name tied to the account.
