Also, Auburn is an Under Armour school.

Auburn was the first major college to sign a deal with Under Armour.  (Actually, Maryland was, but Maryland doesn't count IMO because the owner and CEO of Under Armour is a Maryland alum.  Saying Maryland signed with Under Armour is kinda like saying Oregon signed with Nike.  DUH.)

Connection to Auburn:  Cam and CAP.

Under Armour is everywhere here in Baltimore. Their HQ  campus is just across the harbor and it is huge.

BTW Kemba Walker is a signed UA player as are a bunch of other people I wasn't aware of according to their site.

The only difficulty Auburn has had with the Under Armour deal is that Under Armour is very far behind in the youth AAU basketball scene and that a very very HIGH percentage of the elite players that play on elite AAU teams just "coincidentally" sign with colleges that are sponsored by the gear that their AAU team was sponsored by.  That kind of edge currently puts Under Armour colleges at a disadvantage in basketball recruiting.

Under Armour is putting a lot of effort and money into catching up fast in the AAU scene though.

Scored 13 goals in seven games with my soccer team this spring. UA cold gear is all I am saying. LOL

As a 48 year old, out-of-shape coach, I imagine I'd look kinda silly running around the field in Under Armour gear.

Might see some of my players wear it though.

No matter how it might look, it feels great.

Btw, I caught an 88 cm cod last week, wearing an UA sweater. That stuff us magic.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
