Bet it all ties together quite nicely when it's all said and done. Two episodes is a lot of time and information we still don't have yet. They have the missing girl who no doubt has tons of information on what's really been going down. We know catalyst and the Russians were working together to push frank out of his land. The mayor of vinci's son was there so he is connected. All of these individual dramas are all connected if you hadn't caught on to that yet

Which is all well and good but you literally aren't smart enough to pick up on little things shows like true detective offer because you only watch it at a surface level. Like you said yourself, you are done with this show so maybe I would recommend a show like modern family for you cause that will be more at your brain level.
