loved Season 1 even though some checked out for the pacing from 2 episodes....this one has potential but a lot to live up to as TD season 1 was must watch TV as it built up.

It'll be very hard to be better than Season 1. It's a slow burn though so we'll just have to wait and see. They crammed a lot of info at us tonight. I read a recap afterward and am all set for next week.

Not sure how anything can ever eclipse season 1 of TD but we shall see.

Season One, because it was so great and only one season (not going on and becoming worse like many shows), will almost become mythical in a way to me because of those two factors.  Season Two has it's work cut out for it...but I'm all in. 

 

Rachel McAdams ass makes me go all in regardless, though.

Great episode last night. What I've found with shows is you can't judge a show by one episode. It takes a whole season to get an accurate picture. Most were calling GoT season 5 the worst season half way through but in the scheme of everything that happened it was probably one of if not the best season they've done. So I'm looking forward to what's next. We have our body.

I just watched episode 1.  I thought it was much better than the first episode of the first season.  It's off to a much faster pace.  This will be a fun ride I think.  CarolinaNCSU said it best, Rachel McAdams ass is worth it alone.  Also I really liked Taylor Kitsch and it will be interesting to see how his character CHP Paul Woodrugh develops.

I do find it humorous the corruption surrounding the Train project in Episode 1.

Better than season 1 episode 1, no. Faster paced, no. But very good none the less.
