I'd say it highlights those who can't tell the difference between the failure of a player and the failure of a unit.

​exactly. he had nothing but weak links on either side of him. it doesn't matter how good you are as a center. if the rest of your line is poo, you're going to look like poo. there's only so much that you can do when the wall is collapsing all around you.

once we got the interior set and remmers stepped in, he and the offense as a whole looked better. with the line settled (or close to settled) the way it is, i think we will see the return of all-pro kalil.

I'm not giving BR any pub what so ever, but I have mentioned a few times already, be ready for this to be a strange offseason for Kalil next year.

 

His cap hit is 10.3M and dead money is 5.9M that can be spread out over two seasons if he's a June 1 cut.  That said, his numbers look much better for the 17 season, so we may just ride it out like we did with Big Money's contract this year.
