Also remember how everyone said Gross had declined and then put Travelle Wharton back in at LT he is a pro-bowler?   Cam can still operate with bad tackle play, he gets erratic with bad guard play.  Pressure up the middle stops him stepping up in the pocket and Amini Silatolu is one of the worse at it.  It doesn't always show up as a stat, but in passing downs Amini  either gets pushed back into Cam, lets someone blow by him,  or gets knocked on his butt.  Thats why he started hot at the beginning of the year but steadily got worse as his trust got worst in his Oline protecting him.  As the trust got better his play got better however his mechanics were thrown off.

Lol... Kalil is still top 10 at center IMO.  Undervalued for what he brings... line protections, leadership, etc. Im still uneasy about the depth behind him?. Smh @ that rank.  19??????  Not a chance.

​Because he is a center.  They are rarely credited with giving up a sack unless the tackle is lining up directly on top of him.

Questionable analysis and that's being nice....Sure he has probably declined some recently....I mean he's 30 years old.  He hasn't exactly had a stellar cast to support him here recently either, which is no fault of his own.

So 19th?  Not even in the top half of centers in the league??  I just don't know about that.

I've always thought it was strange how the huddle in general seemed to overrate Kalil imo. He's not a good pass blocker, and he's a liability in short yardage situations. He makes up for his lack of size and other shortcomings with his knowledge, technique and experience.
