That was one of his red flags coming out of FSU, I think he will get back in shape by camp.

 

Its weird how Cam is the same height and weighs more but seems to carry his weight better. Kelvin looks skinny for 240+

The issue is probably not that Benjamin is 8 pounds heavier than he was last season - but that the panthers wanted him to lose weight from where he played last season and he showed up heavier.

Benjamin definitely had stamina issues towards the end of the 2014 season.  His weight is an asset until it's an issue.  Spartanburg in July/August will help a lot of guys make their weight goals.

He reportedly arrived as an FSU freshman 20 lbs. overweight, so there's some history. He needs to understand the job comes with a media microscope and they'd rather report negatives than positives.
