Ok know some of yall have lived there.  Taking my  parents there for their 50th Anniversary.  Need a list of things to do and the best place to take them to eat dinner.

Only place I tried recently was A.W. Shucks. It was mediocre at best. Food lacked seasoning. 

I did really enjoy the walk out by the battery and Fort Sumter. I'm a history nut so that was awesome to me. 

Spent a good bit of time down at the slave market too. The people that did the weaving were freaking amazing.

It's a local chain, but California Dreaming is a good place. Nice location on the river too.

Poogans Porch. Reserve online and let them know it's for an anniversary. Ask for Sebestian to be your waiter. Wife and I just went last Friday and everything was perfect.

Hyman's is horrible.  OK, not horrible but not very good.  Oak Steakhouse, Fig, Charleston Grill, and Hall's Chophouse are really good.  Husk and High Cotton are phenomenal.  Poogan's is pretty good but Hominy Grill is much better for shrimp n grits.
