We just lost any chance we had at getting Curry to come home

Recommended Posts

That is a dumb question imo. I don't think a single GM in the NBA would trade anthony davis for Stephen curry. Davis is about to take over the league as lebron falls off and everyone sees it coming

though hypothetical and not happening, if this were the case, i wouldn't put it past our front office to make the trade. you underestimate the ineptitude of cho and co.

Great! Can't shoot. Probably will never get a reliable jump shot, meaning at best we might have Tony Allen instead of a Kawhi Leonard or Draymond Green.

And so the cycle continues...

Green and Leonard don't belong in the same sentence. Leonard is far superior, Green shouldn't get a Max.

I wouldn't trade MKG for Green in a million years. I would for Leonard,  MKG is still very young and going to end up very good.

i agree with you. i think MKG is the only player on the roster i wouldn't trade...unless the deal was too good to be true. otherwise, the entire roster is available for offers.

There is a post on hornets planet that the 2017 All-Star Game is going to be in Charlotte. That would be something to give Steph a hometown welcome right before he enters free agency.

that will be the closest thing to a Charlotte player that we have in that game.

Saying there's no chance he comes home is almost as dumb as saying he's definitely coming home. No one knows either way. All indications are that Steph loves Charlotte. You don't know what can happen in a two year span. We do have a lot of talent on this team and Golden State itself has proven that changing coaches could change everything.

GS with Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, Iggy, and Draymond Green coupled with a coaching change.......

the talent difference between GS and Charlotte is immense.  I'm not so sure that GS's reserves couldn't beat Charlotte.

Yes, he loves Charlotte. But he's also not an idiot. Why would anyone (other than LeBron) choose to leave a winner for a team he'll have to rebuild? It just makes no sense. When Curry gets older? Well, yeah. That makes sense.

As long as KD doesn't move East, literally the only thing stopping Curry from getting to the finals is a Cavs team led by a LeBron team with 14 years of getting beaten up trying to carry teams on his back approaching his mid 30s.

As good as Golden State looked this season, you could make a case they might not win another title in a brutal Western Conference and were the beneficiaries of good health down the stretch and untimely injuries to their opponents.

Of course Curry has no reason to leave in 2015. Fortunately he won't be on the market until 2017, and alot can change in the NBA in two seasons.
