Greg Olsen feels the disrespect!

That's major disrespect. Hasn't our D been statistically top 10 the last two season?

Last 3 according to the AP.

Davis has been part of a defense that has finished in the top 10 in each of the past three seasons.

Just more to get the defense fired up, thank you. Despite all their, "I just focus on what I can control & being the best player I can be & doing whatever helps the team win" rhetoric, you know this bs bothers them & gets them fired up.

Is it September yet?????

it's things like that that make me proud that our team has it's own back, if you know what I mean. Offense to Defense. Defense to Offense, and everything in between now.

the positive talk is great. We will see what we get when we watch the team on the field. But, if they believe that they are on their way. They will play that way.

To have the national media look over our defense is kinda scary.

Had a friend of mine (In NY) read these tweets and he said "You guys took a hit on D."

I asked him "we did?"

He replied "Last season you suffered on D with injuries and what not. Didn't you also give away a lot of guys?"

So I guess, no one gave credit to the end of the season nationally.

When it comes to the Panthers, the national sports media is still stuck on the Panthers that started Bell, Silatolu, Velasco,Chandler, Cotchery, Avant, Reaves/Ogbannya, DeCoud, Cason, Godfrey (not to mention CJ and Cam both played hurt). They are fixated on the mid-season Panthers that lost 6 games and were getting blown out every other game. Unless your team has made a splashy move or 2 in free agency, the media pretty much bases predictions for the next season based off performance in the previous season.

We are flying under the radar, and I love it.

Couldn't agree more.  We always seem to perform better when nobody expects us to.  Hopefully we are entering a different time in Panthers history where we ball out even when the media starts giving us some love and we can shine in prime time on a consistent basis.
