​Notice you don't see those people posting about him anymore... Those guys are so damn shortsighted... it's crazy. Gettleman is doing what nobody thought he could, and that's sign our talent that deserves money long term at fair and reasonable contracts that don't hurt the team in the long run.

​I think his actions command a lot of respect from the players too. The guys getting paid are elite talents and role models while the big ones he's let go have been troublemakers (Smitty blesshisheart, Hardy) and/or just not earning their paycheck. That's gotta be a big motivator for the newer guys on the team especially.

There's absolutely nothing I can say that'll express how ecstatic I am right now. My 1st thought was, we have 3 years to win a Super Bowl for him. That should motivate the team like nothing else. Second thought, there's not a better man to represent this team and Charlotte and North Carolina than Thomas Davis.
