Thomas Davis agrees to 2-year contract extension

As an extension it could potentially save us a little, and go ahead and get some of that guaranteed cash outta the way early like Cam.

Hmmm that's a good point. That would give us a pretty healthy cap and possibly more importantly a stable cap going into the future. It doesn't seem like Gettleman likes those escalating contracts for the guys we actually expect to play most of the contract. But either way, Luke isn't going anywhere.

Looks like a custom Thomas Davis Elite jersey will be amongst my next purchases. That'll be one you can wear for LIFE now!

They have the 2-tone Black and Blue custom elite jerseys at 56% off.  A $335 jersey for $150.  Put 58 and Davis on the back badabing!

Just left the Panthers team store and saw my jerseys sitting on the rack with jake Delhomme jerseys for $5.99. Wow SMH.

Felt so bad for him that day. But he made it.

Say what you want about Gettleman's pennypinching in free agency. He's paid the guys who perform and cut the ones who aren't, even when it's been tough.

Notice you don't see those people posting about him anymore... Those guys are so damn shortsighted... it's crazy. Gettleman is doing what nobody thought he could, and that's sign our talent that deserves money long term at fair and reasonable contracts that don't hurt the team in the long run.
