​they would have to make a rule, for example, that the QB can't extend the football then. It wouldn't be fair that the defender couldn't defend against a QB diving and extending the football with his arms.

Except for the fact that Cam never extends his arms.

He goes full fetal.

Well the problems see with cam sliding is he tried to do it last year and got hit.  No call I'm guessing because he's cam and not some non running QB.  I'd hate for him to be injured on a no call because he slid.  Other than that I agree no craziness in preseason just don't run him. Or at least be careful.
