White Trash at its Finest

I'm up in Canada this week and the talk radio stations up here were discussing this.  One caller made a comment that the litigious nature of the US is the reason nobody stepped in to break it up.

On the video someone says they are going to break it up and other people around them insist that they not do that for this exact reason. Hate to say it but it is logical. I still think I would have broke it up though.

If one of the two had been attacked I would step in for sure to break it up.  Both of these ladies looked liked they were wanting to fight though so I would have just sat there with my arms crossed and enjoyed the show.

Not sure what I would have done. I say I'd break it up but in reality I'd probably walk away and continue on buying shitty product from Walmart.

I am not sure what I would have done, but I don't think I would have tried to break it up.  I once tried to break up a fight between a man and his girlfriend, and ended up getting jumped by both of them with one the guy pulling a knife on me.  Since that time, I have been hesitant to get involved unless someone is getting really hurt or a friend is involved.  Usually its best to just call the cops or in this case, security.

Unless it's a completely defenseless person being beaten (child, elderly, etc) I wouldn't get in the middle of it. If two able-bodied adults wanna smack each other around then go right ahead. I'm not risking the potential of personal injury or some bogus lawsuit to save your retarded ass. I might, however, point and laugh while watching.

    • Just stop, man. All the college stats don't matter. Plenty of guys who put up big numbers in college flop in the NFL and you and I both know that there are 1st round and top 10 busts every year. While we definitely hope T-Mac isn't one and we hope he proves to be a great NFL WR, you can't assume poo about a rookie who hasn't played a down of NFL football yet.
    • therein lies the problem.  Carry on
    • Again, it's not about performance, it's purely a statement about his ability as a football player. Which right now, is better than Chark ever was, I don't understand how that is a controversial statement. This isn't someone who had a 1,500 yard season with a dozen touchdowns while being a threat the other team was afraid of on every snap.  It's literally a guy who had a couple good games and then was just peppered with targets in the others because the team had no other viable WRs and he still barely cracked 1,000 yards, and then was barely even a JAG for the rest of his career outside that one season. Just look at it this way, take names aside, you're saying a guy who's peak was 1,008 yards and 2nd best season was 706 yards, was a better football player at that time than a WR who was just taken in the Top 10 and had multiple teams trying to trade up to get them. That's beyond asinine thinking.  I'm genuinely not even sure Chark would make the argument himself if he was being completely honest and objective about it.
