​I'm more on the left than the right but I agree with this.  Luckily I have the greatest parents in the world who have given me everything and more so it may be easy for me to say, but every one has potential to do something great even if others are holding them back.  I think one problem is so many kids have unrealistic expectations for themselves.  So many kids are like "Gonna work my ass off to get a sports scholarship" and I mean some do, but it's an extremely small percentage.  You have to be a freak to get a scholarship even to a small school.  On the other hand I do believe that every one has access to college.  If you study and work and challenge yourself at all in high school you can get into a 4 year uni.  Or go to cc or something.  Kids that do come up not as lucky do not know that main focus should always be school.  Maybe you see what I'm saying.

Both my fiance and I worked at Wal-Mart during college and unfortunately, you see things like this all the time.. Because of poo like this, I try and stay out of Wal-Mart as much as possible. Every time I go in there I always leave in a bad mood.

I'm tired of people saying only the rich and educated have the privilege for education when some people are too lazy to research it, think it's easier to just say they're held down, or don't want to apply themselves, or take a risk on themselves and take a loan out to pay bills while in college. But I'm so very fuging sorry, public college or really any type of equation besides ivy leagues and private colleges is completely free if you apply yourself.

I'm up in Canada this week and the talk radio stations up here were discussing this.  One caller made a comment that the litigious nature of the US is the reason nobody stepped in to break it up.

I just don't see how somebody with a 6 year old can do this type of thing.  She is being charged, not with assault, but with child neglect and endangerment which is a felony in Indiana.  She faces jail time instead of a simple assault charge.
