Amini is terrible, even Velasco was a noticeable upgrade from him.

The two positions I can see us watching when cut-down days to 75 and 53 arrive are Guard and Safety. Looks like our top back-up Guards will be Silatolu at LG and Chandler at RG, unless Remmers, Martin, and Wallace get some cross-training in camp. Haven't heard much about RG Chris Scott.

Amini was horrible last season. After Norwell replaced him our offensive line improved. So obviously Amini was part of the problem. I thought Amini wasn't that bad when he was starting his rookie year which has me thinking, is he playing bad because of his injury or is he just that bad and I didn't notice before?

He is just that bad.

Honestly, Chandler at guard as a backup does not bother me at all. He has shown he can contribute adequately in the event of an injury. He's good depth. Not a good starter.
