To be fair to Wilson, he has been making peanuts compared to Cam and other first round QBs.

 

Last season Wilson's salary was $662k, about half of what his backup Tarvaris Jackson earned.

Then he should have played better in college and went in the first round. I should have graduated first in my class but I drank too much in college.

He very well could try free agency. His baseball agent has a history of letting his clients walk in order to make more money. While SEA will fight and use their franchise tag abilities, I wouldn't be surprised if he holds out next year or they trade him.
