Though it's possible to lobby that neither this exhibition nor the three that preceded it really matter, can anyone say with a straight face that Carolina's collective preseason effort and its showing Thursday night aren't disturbing for a team with such high hopes?

Not if you wear the magical rose colored glasses a lot of people here have.

Hopefully the Football talent fairy will visit everyone before the start of the season though. God willing.
