The driver reported to On-Star that he hit a deer. Then during the police investigation the On-Star rep told the police that the driver said he hit a deer.

Well, if he was sufficiently drunk, he just MAY HAVE thought he hit a deer. :lol:

From what I've read, the basic theory at this point is that he slammed into the back of another car; OnStar came on because they detected a collision; he told them he hit a deer and then ran off.
