​Unless brandon spikes cleaned up the blood, picked up the deer and carried it home to eat it for dinner, it looks like that was a lie.  No deer was found.

​From my understanding was that an ON-START reported it as a deer and not him.  Still doesn't seem likely.

The driver reported to On-Star that he hit a deer. Then during the police investigation the On-Star rep told the police that the driver said he hit a deer.

Apparently, at that same time and in that same area, another driver reported being rear ended.
