As much as you want to.  You can't hate him.   Hopefully, when he retires he will drop the hate and comes home.

The football gods decided to give Smitty a good game that day. Of course being that we are the Panthers our former super hero player comes out and gets two bullsht scores and everyone acts like he did something so extraordinary. Charles Johnson was right. It was simply destiny that game. Also Norman would have shut him down for the most part. I remember during the draft party he told me Smitty didn't talk any smack to Josh because he knew he could stop him. But he had no problem talking trash to White and the others.

 

And I say all that as the biggest Steve Smith homer. He's my favorite player of all time. I think he's top 5 ever at WR. However the Panthers have historically been on the losing side of irony for a long time and this game was no different.
