Everette Brown....

I agree. Anyway, they'll be much more prepared, but will still struggle to stop him

i agree, all the coaches talked about his wide arsenal of pass rush moves during camp. but so far he seems a little too reliant on the spin. he has shown some good dip and other speed moves, but not very frequently. he could be the best rusher we have had in along time. but with fox as coach he will have to be solid vs the run before he is awarded any significant playing time on early downs.

so lets hope he learns from the vets quickly, our secondary is looking very shaky, and we probably wont rush more than 4 unless its a special situation under meeks scheme, so we need him to step up and produce the pressure this year.

i think we could be looking back at this move at next years draft with the same feeling as we all had about the otah trade.

Ok I see what this is....this is your first time watching football. Its okay buddy we'll hold your hand all the way until the season is over. By the way the season hasn't started yet, all the games we have played so far don't count. I know it can be confusing but you'll get the hang of it soon.

im sure fox and co were just hustling the rest of the nfl into thinking that they were actually terrible. I'm sure that once the season starts, everyone will remember how to tackle, and they'll be able to clog the middle, and the offense will convert on third down, and they won't be predictable. Yes, all these things will magically by next sunday.

What I like most about Everette Brown is he seems to go all out every play. His only speed is wide open all the way to the whistle. You can see the fire and intensity he plays with....I hope some of that intensity rubs off on our million dollar man this year. Once Brown puts on some weight in the off season and really masters his technique, I think he will be a very good every down DE.

We got Brown and Goodson for next years first round pick.....Both players can have a big impact on our team for many years to come. Looks like a pretty good deal to me.

Here is the question: If this season turns out as bad as the Pre-Season has. Was the trade for Brown/Goodsen worth a top 10 pick in a very talent rich draft?

It all comes down, for me, on how we finish this season. This strategy worked great last year with Otah(we got the upper hand because we finished so well last year).

Well, one reason we traded our first rounder next year is because we were so far down in the second round. If we have a bad enough season that we would get a top 10 pick, we will still get a pick at the top of the second round in a very talent rich draft. Perhaps a player that would have been a first rounder in a different draft.

Not all 32 other teams played outstanding during preseason. If you watched any other games, which I doubt, you will realize that other teams had issues too. Some were much better and some were much worse, but EVERYONE is 0-0 right now so none of that even matters. If you went to a practice and they didn't practice well would you throw up your hands and give up on the season? No. Thats why we practice, thats how you get better.

Do you believe in magic in a young girl's heart

How the music can free her, whenever it starts

And it's magic, if the music is groovy

It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie

I'll tell you about the magic, and it'll free your soul

But it's like trying to tell a stranger 'bout rock and roll

I didn't jump up and down screaming like a little school girl for nothing when we traded up for Everette Brown...dude is sick...has the name of a star...a local kid...grew up a Panthers fan...and has the heart that some ::cough cough:: Peppers don't...

He's going to be a star for years to come in Carolina!
