He definitely seems to play hard every down and that's not a jab at anyone else on the defensive line.

he strikes me as a second-half-of-the-season type of guy for us. I don't see him getting a ton of playing time until around week 8 or 9... by then he'll have come into his own and start making plays... just in time for a playoff push :patriot:

I think at a SACK A GAME production- HE will see A LOT of playing time.

It's tough because I still think of him as a first round pick. Hard to believe we got him in the second for chump change compared to those first rounders. With that said I'm equally disappointed in Sherrod Martin, he was also a second rounder but feels more like a third or fourth. I do think Goodson, Munnerlyn, and Robinson were great picks that could end up being big contributors in the future.

Its just a Value statement. We are weak at DT and there are only so many roster spots.....

Kid has a lot of value, and wee need a DT.... Just a comment, nothing more.

i would like to think so too, but his sack-a-games came against second-stringers. we've yet to see what he can do against premium tackles.
