Uh Oh, Source: Saints worried about noticeable decline in Drew Brees

Recommended Posts

The Saints got uber lucky Breesus' shoulder held up after his injury late with the Chargers.

Uber lucky.

That ish is over, it's our time now.

Every single day the cornerstone(s) of our back to back champions get closer to their prime, while theirs get further away.

last 4 games last year with the division on the line

6 TD

6 INT

11 Sacks

6 of his 17 INT came against TB in 2 games ... someone needs to look at the tape and see what TB is doing to him.

Moleface is 6'0" tall like Vick. When he gets pressure from DTs straight into his moleface, he has a tough time seeing down the field, even with that little hop step he takes to spy the field. Tampa has one of the best DTs in the league in Gerald McCoy. He's great at penetrating the pocket and getting in the QBs face, so that's why Tampa got so many of Moleface's INTs last year. He couldn't see as well down the field with McCoy right there.

Except McCoy only played in one of the games.

3 INTs vs Tampa each time. The game McCoy missed, another Tampa DT was able to get in his face and tip the pass which Tampa picked off. Pressure from DTs is Moleface's weakness.

His shoulder is his weakness.

One of those 3 INTs vs.Tampa week 17 was an endzone throw over his WR's head that got picked off. He can still gun one if he has the time to really step into it and the interior 3 O-Linemen have managed to give him a clear throwing lane. But yeah his arm strength is going, too. The last INT of that game was Moleface trying to zip one to his WR on the goal line in between 2 defenders. Granny with her walker had more velocity than that pass.
