Oher Believes He Can Protect Cam

It's not like he does not have the talent. He proved that his rookie season. I hopeful that Oher being back with his old position coach and being completely healthy, he could find at least some of the success he had hi rookie season. Man, just think if everything comes together for him he would be the steal of FA for the Panthers

Oher seems like he has the right attitude coming into Carolina. He mentions in the article he feels like he has to prove his self and he's starting over.

Having something to prove to yourself and your peers can be a strong motivator. I think he will do well.

I will also echo that at least he isn't Bell, it could be much worse at LT as we all witnessed last season.

Oher really couldn't be in a better situation than he is now.  I'm concerned the Panthers didn't at least take a shot on a rookie LT just to push him or be a backup plan in case Oher struggled.  Backup LT is a big gaping hole on this team.

He last played for the Titans, and no.

There is some belief that he wasn't terribly pleased with the Titans coaches.

that's right. forgot he played for the titans last year. Def picking up that vibe from his comments

Oher last season was about as bad as Bell. Oher wasn't 100% last season while Bell was. I think Oher at 100% is at least a minimal upgrade over Bell at worst, and at best (reunited with Matsko) can be a fairly long term solution until we can draft/groom another LT for the future.
